Damn you stupid A5 pad – why do you hinder me in such way with your limited width yet appropriate height, misleading me into creating drawings that serve no purpose other than discontentment and trickery! Yes, you may be convenient and sit well on the side of the sofa so I may use the papery sheets that you hold within, if an inspirational moment reveals itself, but you are useless for this web design and it’s time I gained a larger pad. I hate you stupid pad.

on a positive note it kind of works if i do the symmetrical thing again but I shall attempt a few more times on a bigger pad. Then try using some of the patterns in Illustrator to see if the crisp – computerised version of the patterns looks nicer. It may be hard creating the variation and direction of elements in Illustrator + may look too artificial but will have to see.
