Although these aren’t perfect yet, I think this is probably the way to go. Illustrator makes it really easy to convert the drawings I scanned, into patterns and custom brushes that can then be applied to any vector shape – it’s so much fun!
I wasn’t originally thinking minimal but then this is usually a decent way to go – developing an idea that may contain a lot of logic and reasoning behind it but eventually materialises into a simplish presentation. In short – a simple presentation of a complex idea.
I need to experiment more more more, but my initial attempts seem reasonably promising.
