These so-called “social networking” sites need to leave the internet… permanently. They are changing face-to-face social interactions into impersonal text from some person who claims that they are your dad’s aunt’s sister-in-law to a member of some no-name band (or something to that extent), even though they actualy are you’re creepy stalker-ish next door neighbors who “invited” the police over to their house last week.

I know that this is NOT an example of a real scenario, it is just a joke. The point is there are some weird people out there, and I wouldn’t feel comfortable sharing my personal information with THE ENTIRE WORLD.
